Our Mission

Council Road Kids Grade School Ministry exists to share God’s love with kids and their families so everyone can understand His plan for their lives, discover Bible truths and apply those truths in daily living. It is our desire to partner with parents in helping kids on their journey with God and each other.

Sunday Happenings

Kids Connection Groups
Our 1st-5th grade kids meet on the third floor of the Children’s Building each Sunday at 9 a.m. for graded, small-group Bible study. Each class utilizes the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum to walk chronologically through God’s story of love and redemption that starts in Genesis and ends in Revelation. Take-home discussion sheets, trading cards and an interactive app are all available to help parents continue conversations with their children as we partner in pointing kids to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kids Worship
During the 10:30 a.m. worship hour, Kids Worship provides an upbeat and age-appropriate worship service for kids. Our service includes worship through song, giving and Scripture reading just like the adult services. We also include missions moments, object lessons and games to help kids engage in many different ways and to learn to apply Scripture to life.

Baptism

Wednesday Happenings

On Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30, our kids will engage in games, activities and Bible-learning activities through age-graded classes that target the biblical and developmental learning level of each group. Activities include Bible study, Scripture memory, games, crafts, missions and hands-on learning experiences.

Preschool Ministry

Join us for CRBC's Kidventure Week 2024: VBS & More! June 3-6, 2024 from 9 am — 3 pm. The morning session is the "VBS" part of the day (9 am — 12 noon) and includes games, crafts, snacks, missions, and Bible study.

The afternoon session (12 noon — 3 pm) is the "& More!" part of the day. This includes lunch, an object lesson devotion, snacks, and track time! Kids can choose a track activity to explore or enhance a skill or interest for the week. Track choices include basketball, soccer, cheerleading, art, choir, and lego design.

The morning session only is FREE for any child who has completed kindergarten through 5th grade. The cost of participating in the full day of Kidventure is $55 and includes a t-shirt and lunch.
