Realm is our church management system. It provides our pastors and staff with tools for administration, accounting, and communication. The data from Realm feeds the Realm Connect app.

Realm Connect is our congregants' communication app. It helps keep members connected and engaged with their groups, pastoral staff, and each other.

We are using an Invite Only method for joining our Realm. This method provides the most oversight and only allows an individual to join when sent an invite by CRBC staff.

You can only see a member’s information if they have a Realm account and they have set their privacy settings allowing this information to be seen.

The information that can be seen in Connect is based on your personal privacy settings. Privacy settings cover your name, home address, phone numbers (home, cell, & work), email address, and personal information. There are 4 privacy settings in Connect.

1. Anyone in our church who has a Realm Account
2. Your Group or Serving Team Leaders and Members with a Realm Account
3. All individuals who are Leaders in Realm with a Realm Account
4. Users with Permissions Only (staff) with a Realm Account

You can set one level for all items, or you can choose different privacy levels for specific contact fields and personal information. 

No, you cannot post, share photos, or create an event for the entire church. But these items can be done within your Connection Group if permitted by the group leader.

When you create a post, photo, or event in Realm, it shows up on your group's News page, and all group members are notified by email or app notification, depending on their preferences.
