Council Road Baptist Church has the honor of hosting Dr. Peter Williams who will preach in our services on Sunday, October 8, at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. We will have copies of his brand new book for sale titled The Surprising Genius of Jesus. That evening, Michael McAfee will host an open conversation and Q&A time with Peter Williams. This will be a great time to bring skeptical friends and to ask difficult questions of one of the foremost Christian thinkers of our time. Make plans to attend and help us get the word out about this unique opportunity our church has to hear from an incredible speaker. 

Williams is a world-renowned Bible scholar and apologist. He has held the position of CEO and Principal of Tyndale House in Cambridge, England, for years. This center houses the evangelicals most extensive biblical studies library and hosts scholars from around the world to come for research and writing that trickles down to the very Bibles and Bible study materials we utilize every day. Peter Williams holds a PhD from Cambridge and is the author of the award winning Can We Trust the Gospels? It is a short work on the reliability of the firsthand accounts of Jesus.
